Grayscale (Channel Separation)

Our default grayscale separation keeps the channel count as low as possible. That means fewer screens, simpler setup, and lower print cost — without sacrificing accuracy. The tonal values from your original artwork are mapped carefully so highlights, midtones, and shadows land where they should. If your artwork needs more depth or finer tonal gradation, we can build out additional channels on request. More channels means more control over how the tones blend on press — useful for detailed portraits or artwork with complex shading. Either way, the output is built to match the original as closely as the channel count allows.

Precision-Driven Color Separations

We keep separations lean by default — minimal channels, accurate output, no unnecessary complexity. More detail is always available if your artwork calls for it.

Accurate Tonal Mapping
Highlights, midtones, and shadows are mapped against the original artwork. The channel values are set to reproduce what's actually in the design.
Minimal or Detailed — Your Call
Default output uses the fewest channels needed for clean results. Need finer gradation or more tonal depth? We can add channels on request.
